Dear friends of climate action in Europe,
On behalf of the German Federal Environment Ministry (BMU), I am happy to open the sixth call for project ideas of the European Climate Initative (EUKI) today. Are you working for a non-profit entity? Do you have a convincing idea on how to contribute to climate change mitigation in Europe? Then find suitable partners, get together, sketch an ambitious, yet feasible concept and make sure to submit it by 12 January 2022.
Once selected, we provide you between 120,000 and 1 million EUR per project covering one of EUKI’s core areas: climate policy, energy. buildings and municipalities, mobility, agriculture, soils and forestry, awareness, climate-aligned finance and sustainable economy.
The 6th EUKI Call at a glance:
What? We fund transformative cross-border projects with an expected relevant contribution on Climate Change mitigation. We clearly strive for Climate Neutrality.
Who? Non-profit organisations from civil society, academia and education as well as municipalities and non-profit enterprises, such as think-tanks, are all welcome!
Where? We fund projects in EU Member States and accession andidate countries
Please, find all relevant information on the new EUKI call here: https://www.euki.de/en/selection-procedure/
In case you have any more questions, we cordially invite you to join our virtual EUKI Info Day on 7 December (register here). Our team will give an overview of all relevant modalities, such as funding objectives, formal requirements and our evaluation procedure.
Now it’s your turn. We are excited to receive your creative ideas - together for a climate-neutral Europe!
