Dear friends of climate action in Europe,

The war in the middle of Europe deeply moves the EUKI community. What are its consequences and what does the immediate impact on energy security in Europe mean for our future? We therefore asked: What are the short- and long-term consequences of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine on the clean energy transition throughout central and eastern Europe? See and read here some excerpts from the web seminar organised by the EUKI Academy.

CALL for CLIMATE CHAMPIONS

The Climate Bridges project is looking for good climate practices in Southeastern Europe (SEE)! If you are implementing a climate project in the field of decarbonization, circular economy, biodiversity and nature protection, sustainable agriculture or depollution in SEE, then join the call for good practices, submit your project by 30 June and become SEE's  first Climate Champion. Read more about the call here.

JUST TRANSITION CONFERENCE

12 of May the EUKI project Just Transition in the Car Industry will hold a conference in Brussels: Just Transition: Where is the European car industry heading? Stakeholders from politics, the private sector, NGOs, trade unions and academia will convene and engage in an open dialogue about the future of the car industry. The co-creative conference provides a space for knowledge sharing, discussion and mutual understanding in interactive workshops and with excellent keynote speakers. Here you can find further information on the event.

Yours sincerly,

EUKI Team
