Tracking Climate-Ralated Investments and Finance Flows

Sustainable finance taxonomy and national climate strategies can often work to complement each other by bringing national contexts to provisions outlined in a classification system. Such a synergy offers a useful input to the climate finance and investment tracking studies and creates an important basis for further discussions on the investment gap associated with the low-carbon transition. Training for preschool teachers in Sofia

A teachers’ training for kindergartens took place in Sofia, Bulgaria as part of the BEACON project. The event targeted the work of teachers in kindergartens due to high demand and interest from the teachers, as well as to the decision of Burgas municipality to introduce the energy saving initiative into all of its schools and kindergartens.

Incentives for Energy Savings in Schools: Examples And Reflections

Experience from Germany, Bulgaria and Poland shows that it is possible to reach 2-4 percent energy savings per year by implementing simple behavioural energy efficiency measures in schools. This can add up to 10-15 percent per year depending on the local context. How can these projects be introduced? What other benefits do they offer beyond energy savings?
