Background

The project aligns with climate action frameworks in Czechia, Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia, supporting the EU Green Deal and National Climate Plans. Key documents include the European Green Deal, EU Climate Law, and national strategies on industrial transformation. By focusing on the automotive sector’s transformation and integrating social justice aspects, the project addresses climate and social policy gaps in the target countries, promoting the EU’s goal of climate neutrality.

Project

This project supports the just transition of the automotive sector in Czechia, Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia through a digital toolkit, regional training, and multi-stakeholder forums. It engages trade unions, employers, and policymakers to co-create actionable strategies for sustainable mobility, ensuring worker representation and promoting inclusive transformation. The toolkit provides resources for self-assessment, strategy development, and stakeholder dialogue, fostering long-term capacity for managing regional climate transitions. Dissemination activities and EU-level synergies will further amplify the project’s impact.
