At the Frontier: Guidelines for Unlocking Offshore Wind Energy Potential in CEE

dflip

EUKI project BLUECEE establishes exchange formats on offshore wind energy. Thereby the project strengthens the capacity for decisive action and good governance in Bulgaria, Croatia, Poland, and Romania.

The guidelines outline key steps to develop offshore wind energy in the Black Sea region, particularly in Bulgaria and Romania. This sector offers a double benefit for the countries: reducing dependence on imported fossil fuels and promoting sustainable growth in coastal areas. To harness this potential, BLUECEE recommends strengthening infrastructure and regulatory frameworks.
