Bridging the Energy Performance Gap

dflip

EUKI project OUR CEE improves the efficiency and sustainability of public building renovation in Bulgaria, Croatia, Poland and Romania, leading to an increased rate and depth of renovation with the aim of a climate-neutral building stock by 2050.

The publication Bridging the Energy Performance Gap provides a practical framework for achieving reliable energy savings in public building renovations. It examines the discrepancy between predicted and actual energy performance and identifies its key drivers across the project countries. The report highlights systemic challenges across all stages of the renovation process, including financing constraints, weak planning practices, insufficient technical capacity, and lack of post-renovation monitoring.
