Checklist for Sustainable Building Renovation

dflip

EUKI project SURF supports Germany, Hungary, and Romania in promoting sustainable building renovations to achieve climate-neutral building stocks. By focusing on empowering municipal actors, the project provides tools and training to address the untapped potential for energy-efficient renovations in public buildings.

The Checklist for Sustainable Building Renovation offers municipal decision-makers practical guidance for achieving carbon neutrality in renovations. The Checklist emphasises environmentally friendly practices such as optimising existing structures, using low-carbon materials, and incorporating energy-efficient technologies. It offers a step-by-step approach, helping municipalities plan and execute sustainable renovation projects that align with EU climate goals while enhancing building value.

These guidelines are also available on the website of Deutsche Umwelthilfe in Romanian and Hungarian language.
