Energy Audit of Social Housing in the Slovak Village of Ostrovany

dflip

EUKI project Empowering Roma Communities in the Green Deal promotes the active participation of Roma communities in climate and environmental decision-making. It supports inclusive governance, strengthens local capacities, and fosters cooperation between civil society, academia, and public institutions.

The energy audit provides practical recommendations on energy efficiency for both large-scale renovation projects and environmentally friendly DIY measures in housing. In this case, a water leak and a breakdown of the water supply coincided with the process, so, in consultation with the mayor and local social workers, a prepaid water system was selected as an immediate priority.
