The Danish Energy Efficiency Obligation (EEO) scheme is praised for its flexibility, and simplicity of administration as well as straightforwardness in technical accounting of energy savings. It benefits from low administrative costs and high acceptance of the scheme amongst the obligated parties and population. The study by adelphi and Navigant examines the transferability of the Danish EEO to the German context.
