Financing for Prosumer Renewable Energy in Lithuania, North Macedonia, and Bulgaria

EUKI project SUNRISE – Prosumer Solar Energy aims to raise awareness among people in Bulgaria, Lithuania, and North Macedonia about the benefits of using solar energy to produce their own electricity. By highlighting the diverse approaches within the EU framework, the project seeks to educate and empower individuals to adopt renewable energy solutions, contributing to a sustainable and innovative energy future in these countries.

This report outlines the renewable energy financial products and services available to prosumers in Lithuania, North Macedonia, and Bulgaria. These countries, each at different stages of their renewable energy development, highlight the diversity within the EU framework through their varied approaches. The individual financing environments of these three countries, summarised in this document, contribute significantly to the EU’s collective narrative in renewable energy innovation and adaptation.
