From Crisis to Resilience: Climate Measures for a Just Future in Czechia
EUKI Project “Strengthening Ownership of Climate Policy in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE)” supports stronger engagement with EU climate policy among Central and Eastern European policymakers. This is achieved by improving their understanding of the EU’s climate agenda and the advantages of taking ambitious climate action.
The publication examines how Czech climate policy can address structural societal challenges. It highlights policy tools that respond to overlapping crises and support vulnerable households, thereby strengthening overall societal resilience. It also demonstrates how climate action can deliver wider social and economic benefits, such as alleviating energy poverty and enhancing energy security. Furthermore, it emphasises that well-designed climate policies can facilitate a just transition by ensuring the inclusion of vulnerable groups in the policy development.
The publication is available in Czech only.
