Guideline for Energy Community Founders in Hungary

dflip

As part of EUKI project COMMENCE, which supports community energy initiatives in Central Europe, this guideline helps establish energy communities in Hungary by providing legal, financial, and organisational guidance for municipalities, citizens, and Small and Medium-sized Enterprises.

It addresses key challenges—such as regulatory, financial, and technical barriers—offering practical solutions and project models, while highlighting the role of local authorities in the energy transition. These resources are connected with Hungary’s One-Stop-Shop for energy communities, Közösségi energia Tudástér.

Developed by MTVSZ with legal and technical experts, the publication is available in Hungarian.
