Guideline for Energy Community Founders in Hungary

dflip

As part of EUKI project COMMENCE, which supports community energy initiatives in Central Europe, this guideline helps establish energy communities in Hungary by providing legal, financial, and organisational guidance for municipalities, citizens, and Small and Medium-sized Enterprises.

The first edition of the publication, which helps community energy initiatives get started by developing their project models, was completed at the end of February this year. Since then, however, the legal framework for energy sharing in residential buildings has become more precise in Hungary, therefore COMMENCE project partner MTVSZ has modified the guideline accordingly. In this handbook the authors present energy community models in project canvas, including two residential building sharing models, which are very useful in refining the readers own energy community idea.

The digital version is available in Hungarian on the One-Stop-Shop for energy communities and on the website of MTVSZ. Additionally, a printed version of the handbook will be available soon.
