Methodological Techniques for Climate Action and Sustainability Education

dflip

EUKI project Sustainaware educates youth in Slovenia and Hungary on climate change and action through non-formal learning, fostering climate literacy and engagement across the region.

The Sustainaware competence model supports youth workers and educators in guiding young people on climate action through non-formal education. Focusing on four key dimensions (attitude, knowledge, skills, and behaviour) it promotes personal growth, social responsibility, and systemic thinking. The model covers areas such as advocacy, digital literacy, and community engagement, serving as a flexible tool for training, evaluation, and strengthening the role of youth work in climate mitigation.
