Potential of Hydrogen Technologies in Poland, Bulgaria, Lithuania, and Albania

dflip

EUKI project RenewStart for Hydrogen Technologies supports the development of hydrogen economies in Central and South-Eastern Europe by addressing key knowledge gaps, regulatory challenges, and implementation barriers in emerging hydrogen markets.

This series of country reports examines the potential for hydrogen economy development in Poland, Bulgaria, Lithuania, and Albania. Each report assesses the current hydrogen landscape, market structures, legal frameworks, infrastructure readiness, and investment conditions, identifying country-specific opportunities and obstacles for scaling low-emission hydrogen.

Complementing the national analyses, the Best Practice Report showcases operational hydrogen demonstration projects across the four countries. It highlights real-world applications, technological solutions, and integrated systems that illustrate how hydrogen technologies can be deployed in industrial, energy, and transport sectors.
