dflip

EUKI project RenewStart for Hydrogen Technologies promotes renewable energy and hydrogen integration in Poland, Lithuania, Bulgaria, and Albania. It builds a multinational consortium across key sectors to raise awareness, attract investment, and enhance market growth.

The publication outlines key strategies for Lithuania’s renewable energy transition, focusing on wind, solar, and biomass energy. This shift aims to enhance energy security and reduce fossil fuel dependence. To achieve these goals, Lithuania is encouraged to modernise its grid, simplify permitting processes, and promote community energy initiatives. The hydrogen development strategy emphasizes creating a regulatory framework to support green hydrogen production and export, aiming to bolster energy independence and stimulate economic growth. Effective investments and public engagement are vital for advancing Lithuania’s renewable energy targets and ensuring a sustainable energy future.
