Social Climate Plans: Regional Insights from Bulgaria, Hungary & Romania

dflip

The BioJust project takes place in Bulgaria, Hungary, and Romania, where WWF works together with Habitat for Humanity to prepare national recommendations for using the Social Climate Fund and creating Social Climate Plans. The regional brief offers a concise overview of national developments and brings together key recommendations with broader relevance, particularly for countries across Central and Eastern Europe. While many proposals build on existing guidance from NGOs, the brief also highlights targeted solutions for rural households living in single-family homes and relying on solid fuels for heating. These households are among the most vulnerable and are a key focus of the project.
