Travnik’s Climate Action Plan for Agriculture

dflip

EUKI project SOFI – Smart Organic Food Initiative promotes climate-friendly agriculture in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, and Germany. It raises awareness of agriculture’s impact on climate change and supports farmers, citizens, and municipalities in adopting sustainable and organic practices through education, networking, and green business support.

The Climate Action Plan for Agriculture for the Municipality of Travnik builds on this framework, offering practical measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, enhance soil carbon sequestration, and strengthen resilience to climate impacts. Combining research, stakeholder engagement, and actionable guidance, it provides locally tailored strategies aligned with national and EU policies to foster a more sustainable agricultural sector.
