Bringing together representatives from Southeast Europe, the panel will examine how Romania, Bulgaria, and Greece can balance decarbonisation efforts while ensuring competitiveness and economic growth. It discusses how EU policy and funding mechanisms can be leveraged to tackle barriers such as high energy costs, insufficient regulatory framework, immature technologies, and the socio-economic impacts of the green transition. Additionally, the session will explore how regional cooperation and energy market integration can enhance resilience, attract investment, and create shared economic opportunities. The discussion will then be followed by an open Q&A session.
