Following the publication of the Clean Industrial Deal by the European Commission on February 26th, this Web Seminar in cooperation with E3G will provide a first assessment of how the Clean Industrial Deal can better respond to regional challenges and opportunities for Central Eastern European (CEE) countries as they transform and future-proof their industrial base. It will further suggest how the EU can leverage the CEE region’s unique competitive advantages to ensure economic success of the whole EU bloc. The event will start with an input from the European Commission on the ins and outs of the Deal. Further insights will be shared from various regional stakeholders, like Romanian think tank EPG, which has been instrumental in amplifying CEE voices at the EU level. Additionally, EUKI projects will share insights on barriers and roadmaps to industrial transformation in select countries.
