EUKI Regional Networking Event in Bucharest

Join us to engage in insightful discussions, exchange innovative ideas, network with peers and create new collaborations that aim to enhance the impact of climate projects. Hosted by the  EUKI Academy  in collaboration with Energy Policy Group (EPG), this event brings together representatives from EUKI projects and policymakers from Romania, Bulgaria and Greece to discuss current and future policy challenges in the realm of climate protection and energy transition. Throughout the event, you will have the opportunity to get to know the EUKI projects and distinguished speakers will explore relevant key topics.  

Topics

The event will begin with a EUKI Project Showcase where you will get to meet the implementers of EUKI projects in the region. The content program will begin with a high-level panel discussion on how Romania, Bulgaria, and Greece can balance decarbonisation efforts while ensuring competitiveness and economic growth.  

In two separate thematic discussion rounds, you will have the opportunity to discuss current issues on future cooperation for driving decarbonisation in SEE. Several parallel sessions will offer you a structured platform to connect, share ideas, discuss challenges and opportunities, and explore ways to enhance collaboration with other EUKI project implementers while showcasing your impact at the national level.  Each session will be moderated by experts from the EUKI-community and your expertise and contributions are welcome and appreciated.  

Following the Networking Event, the EUKI Academy offers a Training on Effective Communication. The training aims to help participants shape their messages in a way that reaches both the public and political decision-makers. This requires knowledge not only of the facts of climate change, but also of political culture and media usage.
