Forum Carpaticum 2025 focuses on advancing sustainable development by bridging natural and social sciences and empowering vulnerable communities in rural and mountain regions. The conference highlights two key themes:

  • Building capabilities and fostering participation of marginalized groups through social and solidarity economy (SSE) in multi-level sustainable development policies

  • Promoting transdisciplinary, impact-driven research that integrates natural and social sciences

This edition will feature collaborations with Horizon Europe’s SERIGO project and RESDI’s initiative supporting Roma community involvement in the EU Green Transition. It aims to strengthen regional and interregional cooperation, support young researchers, and facilitate dialogue among diverse stakeholders.
