Fostering Sustainable Building Renovation in Europe
EUKI project "Sustainable Building Renovation – Shaping the Future" is organising an EU-wide policy conference to discuss the current European regulatory framework, its shortcomings, and the opportunities for municipal actors to influence the transition in the building sector. The conference will bring together municipal, national, and international stakeholders with diverse expertise from scientific, political, and practical backgrounds.
Berlin Impact Hub, Rollbergstraße 28A, , Berlin, 12053
19 November 2024
The hybrid conference “Fostering Sustainable Building Renovation in Europe” aims to facilitate knowledge transfer, the exchange of best practices, and the development of transnational networks. Practitioners and experts from municipalities, academia, and industry will share best practices, innovative approaches, and tools crucial for the successful and accelerated implementation of building renovation projects across European municipalities. You can find the preliminary programme of the conference here.
The venue, Impact Hub Berlin, is itself a prime example of sustainable renovation and circularity. Located in the CRCLR house, the Impact Hub is constructed based on circular economy principles, using reused or reusable materials. After the conference, there will be an opportunity to participate in a guided tour to learn more about how circularity was incorporated into the construction of the Impact Hub.
Registration is possible until November 1st.
