Passive Kindergarten in Dzierżoniów Sets New Energy Efficiency Standard

With the support of the EUKI project Ready4NetZero, the city of Dzierżoniów in Poland began the construction of a certified passive kindergarten in 2023. The building will be equipped with modern technologies such as heat pumps and a photovoltaic system. The project aims to increase energy efficiency by at least 80% compared to conventional facilities. The training destined to project managers and architects has ensured the use of sustainable building materials and methods. These measures will significantly reduce CO₂ emissions and create a healthy learning environment for the children. The project successfully delivered an energy-efficient and low-carbon kindergarten, demonstrating that sustainable construction benefit local communities and future generations.
