Web Seminar: Efficient Allocation of EU Funds in CEE

Published: 16 May 2023

About this Recording

EU funding is a key instrument for achieving the EU’s climate goals. In recent years, spending on sustainable and green projects has increased massively.

For this web seminar, EUKI Academy invited experts of the EUKI project “Directing EU Funds towards Climate Neutrality” to present examples of effective and ineffective practices of EU-funded projects in Hungary, Bulgaria, Slovenia and Poland. Together with Zita Herman, Advisor on Budgets, The Greens/EFA, we debated the question how the ‘Do No Significant Harm’ (DNSH) principal might improve the monitoring processes of the sustainability of new projects funded in the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF) and as such strengthen the effectivity of EU funded sustainability projects.
