Through pilot trainings and workshops, EUKI project “EDINA” has educated more than 500 civil servants and representatives of housing associations on energy-efficient housing renovations. In over 100 Polish cities and municipalities, efficiency measures in private buildings have been initiated thereafter. A great support is also provided by their self-developed energy efficiency calculator, which is already being used by over 2000 users.
This publication includes a toolkit on “how to improve energy efficiency of residential buildings in revitalisations areas”.
This toolkit provides guidance on how to make public spaces appealing where pedestrians and public transport take precedence. It also covers the improvement of energy efficiency in revitalisation areas and shows how the technical performance of buildings can already be taken into account in the investment process.
The EUKI-funded project EDINA promoted energy efficiency in Polish revitalisation areas by providing training to property managers and owners. At the final project stage, the EDINA project team shares its experience through 8 summarising videos.
Training sessions on the energy efficiency of private buildings for representatives of local municipalities, property managers, and housing communities from cities, where municipal revitalisation programs was established or where subsidy programs support the renovation of private residential buildings.
“EDINA” provides civil society, experts, municipalities, residents, and home owners in Poland and four other European countries the necessary capacities to embed climate action into municipal revitalisation programmes.
The EDINA project team organised a Spring Webinar session on energy efficiency „Revitalisation Academy – energy efficiency of buildings, districts, cities and funding issues (Web Seminar Series)” to approach EU goals for climate neutrality.
