This report by REScoop.eu, the implementing organization of the EUKI project EUCENA, aims to understand the status quo of gender relations and the integration of women and men in energy communities. It also proposes strategies for mainstreaming gender in policy and practice.
EUKI project “EUCENA – European Citizen Energy Academy” published a new best practice guide with inspiring examples of community energy initiatives in the Balkan region to animate more citizens to follow their path.
Forty-five young people from Albania, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Georgia, Serbia participated in the meeting, with the aim of networking among young people and providing opportunities for sharing ideas, knowledge, best practices from the renewable energy sector.
Citizen energy is a means for citizens to take climate action into their own hands. EUCENA supports the civic energy movement in Europe and promotes the transfer of knowledge between Central and South-Eastern Europe.
EUCENA is offering online courses to teach the methods and techniques of creating a energy community in your own neighbourhood.
