Power Purchase Agreement (PPA)

EUKI-project Accelerating Renewable Energy Purchases enables municipalities and small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) in Poland and Croatia to access renewable electricity through practical, long-term Power Purchase Agreements (PPA).

This video is about a roundtable discussing the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). PPA is a long-term contract between a generator and an electricity consumer, setting out in advance the volume, price and duration of the electricity supply. This also relates to energy generated from renewable sources such as solar or wind farms. A PPA sets out the key terms of the sale, including the contract term, the method of price calculation, and the allocation of risks and responsibilities between the contracting parties.
