Climate Education: A Handbook for Teachers

dflip

EUKI Project Sustainable Ecosystem for Climate Education engages students in climate action by making climate change education an integral part of school curricula in Lower Silesia.

The Climate Education handbook equips teachers with strategies to engage students in climate change discussions, fostering a sense of agency and proactive involvement. It promotes collaboration among educators, communities, and stakeholders to create a supportive network for climate action in schools. Emphasising empathy, field experiences, and design thinking, the handbook integrates practical recommendations and case studies to encourage hands-on learning and local solutions. Additionally, the Climate Educators Open Platform (CEOP) provides resources and fosters a community of educators, advocating for systems thinking and local engagement to prepare students for a sustainable future.

This handbook is written in Polish language.
