The EUKI Academy invites you to an upcoming web seminar on 17 July focused on transport poverty in Central and Eastern Europe. Together, we will examine how mobility inequalities affect the region and discuss practical, just solutions—including key tools, indicators, and funding instruments—to tackle these challenges.

This EUKI Web Seminar will examine how transport poverty can be understood and addressed through socially just and effective approaches. Representatives from the European Commission, civil society and municipalities will discuss how guidelines set by the EU can translate into practical, context-sensitive solutions. The discussion will explore the applicability of current definitions and indicators of transport poverty, approaches to identifying vulnerable groups, and the role of funding instruments in supporting equitable mobility. The EUKI Community will share good practices and actionable measures that enhance access to clean, affordable, and inclusive transport—particularly in regions facing structural disadvantage.
