This EUKI Web Seminar examined how transport poverty can be understood and addressed through socially just and effective approaches. Representatives from the European Commission, civil society and municipalities will discussed how guidelines set by the EU can translate into practical, context-sensitive solutions. The discussion explored the applicability of current definitions and indicators of transport poverty, approaches to identifying vulnerable groups, and the role of funding instruments in supporting equitable mobility. The EUKI Community shared good practices and actionable measures that enhance access to clean, affordable, and inclusive transport—particularly in regions facing structural disadvantage.
