EUKI Academy Web Seminar: New GHG Mitigation Reporting Tool

This is the recording of the EUKI Academy web seminar “New GHG Mitigation Reporting Tool”, held on 3 September 2026. The web seminar introduced EUKI’s new Excel-based Reporting Tool Mitigation, designed to support EUKI projects in reporting greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reductions, avoided emissions and carbon removals under the EUKI Standard Indicators.

During the session, the EUKI team introduced the new mitigation reporting requirements and explained how to determine whether project results qualify as direct mitigation (Standard Indicator IVa) or indirect mitigation (Standard Indicator IVb). Participants were guided through the accompanying Reference and Definition Sheet, which explains the indicators’ scope, key concepts, data requirements and calculation methods. The web seminar also included a live demonstration of the Excel-based Reporting Tool Mitigation, showing how to record mitigation activities, document calculation methods.
