EUKI Academy Web Seminar: The Danish Presidency of the Council of the EU

This is the recording of the EUKI Academy web seminar „The Danish Presidency of the Council of the EU„, held on 25 June 2025. Co-hosted with CAN Europe, the webinar delved into Denmark’s forthcoming EU Council Presidency (starting 1 July 2025), focusing on its climate and energy ambitions—especially the planned EU 2040 climate target, the negotiations for the next Multiannual Financial Framework, and key measures like the European Grids Package. Featuring voices from Danish government officials, EU stakeholders, and civil society, the session examined how civil society can help shape an ambitious, fair, and green agenda—spanning the Green Deal, energy transition, and Denmark’s representation at COP 30.
