14. Juni 2022 - ClimaSUM Sustainable Urban Mobility Planning Conference and Study Tour

The transport sector is one of the main frameworks for implementing strategies to meet the targets of the European Green Deal to reduce emissions. The conference of the project ClimaSUM (14 June 2022, Bratislava) focuses on sustainable mobility planning in cities, urban agglomerations and regions and offers an insight into the current urban issues in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. It will gather mobility practitioners from cities, regions, and experts from private companies, academia and NGOs.
The conference’s keynote speaker and special guest will be Michel Noussan, an expert in sustainable mobility, digitalization and renewable energy from the consultancy DECISIO. Michel led the preparation of the plan “Biciplan Cambio”, which includes the construction of 750 km of new cycle paths in the metropolitan area of Milano (Italy).
The conference will be followed by a study tour to Budapest on 15-17 June 2022. During the three-day programme, you can gain knowledge and inspiration on the topics of public transport and terminals in relation to P+R, cycling, projects in the field of sustainable mobility, and be inspired on-site by transport measures with expert commentary.
The conference and study tour will be held in Slovak/Czech (except for the presentation of Michel Noussan).
