
9 - 11 May 2023 - Pupils’ Conference on “Transition to a Climate-Neutral Future” in Elefsina
The three-day event by EUKI project Pupils’ Conference Elefsina will be held in the city of Elefsina, one of Europe’s three cultural capitals in 2023. It’s entitled “Transition to a Climate-Neutral Future” and will be attended by 350 primary and secondary school students from schools in Greece, as well as from Germany and Balkan countries. The aim is to create the greatest possible interaction between the pupils of Elefsina and those of other cities, in order to generate ideas for an energy efficient and climate-neutral future on a local, national and European level.
Date: 9 – 11 May 2023
During their three days together, the students and teachers have the opportunity to:
- – Communicate to other children their beforehand prepared roadmaps to climate-neutrality,
- – Walk on speciallay designed routes through Elefsina,
- – Consult in mixed groups on various issues in order to propose solutions for climate-neutrality,
- – Synthesise all outcomes in the form of art workshops, visualise their ideas with posters,
- – And communicate their resolutions to the Mayor of Elefsina.
