The focus of this first meeting was sustainable mobility. This meeting provided a unique opportunity for the municipalities to receive input from Viana do Castelo’s mobility expert Soares da Costa, supporting Coruche’s plans to improve their public mobility scheme. After introducing the two municipal partners to Viana’s activities to promote cycling, e-mobility and public transport, Theodoros Argyropoulos of Dorida presented his city’s Energy Action Plan and Coruche’s representatives introduced their partners their sustainable mobility measures. The partners agreed to focus their partnership on concrete projects to achieve learnings that can be applied directly at home. They will hold an informal meeting during an upcoming BEACON workshop in Kalamata (GR) in February 2020 moderated by adelphi.
