Green Principles for an EU-funded Project

dflip

Significant amounts of European Union (EU) resources are devoted to supporting public investments and a wide range of projects through the Cohesion Fund, EU Life, the Recovery and Resilience Fund, and other programmes. As a funder, the EU has the responsibility to ensure that the resources disbursed go to their stated purpose.

The EUKI project Directing EU Funds towards Climate Neutrality analysed the landscape of EU climate finance and listed over 170 best practice projects in a comprehensive database. The publication “Green Principles for an EU-funded Project” draws upon the experience from this process and presents a set of recommendations for setting up green projects with a lasting impact.
