Although environmentalism is on the rise throughout Europe, consumerism and mass production are still deeply rooted in large parts of Romanian society.

Over two years, EUKI project REFE – Reducing Ecological Footprints through Eco-Awareness worked to increase the knowledge of young people on long-term consequences of climate change and on how to live a sustainable lifestyle. This is their final report, recapitulating their methods and outcomes.
