In times of political uncertainty and the ever-increasing threat of a climate crisis, the EUKI Community is a beacon of hope in European climate action. It is therefore important to the EUKI Secretariat to bring this wide array of practitioners together and consolidate the future of the green transition with the EUKI Networking Conference. The language of the conference is English.

Agenda and Speakers

The agenda, consisting of a variety of interactive formats, reflects all of the most significant issues, challenges, and opportunities in mitigating climate change today. Among these are questions about the political course of Europe and its ambitions. The European Commission and other experts will discuss the contents of the 2040 climate targets that are mandated by the European Climate Law. Beyond that, high-level political representatives will enter a dialogue about the needs of climate policy in Central and Eastern Europe.

Workshops

However, as proven by the EUKI Community, climate action must take place on more than just the policy level and involve more than just decision makers. EUKI project representatives will demonstrate how a just transition can be pursued on local levels with interdisciplinary, multilateral target groups. In workshops, participants share their experiences, network with other experts, and learn about developments in climate policy, emissions measurement, the (just) energy transition, and data-based innovations.

Livestream

In an age of technical progress, artificial intelligence, and machine learning, innovation is an important factor to be considered for the field of climate action. During the event, experts will present opportunities and use cases arising from digitisation. In other cases, innovation may also come in the form of new ventures and cooperations. Part of the conference will be concerned with the question how certain industries can contribute to the green transition in a meaningful and collaborative way. The panels and keynote speaches will be livestreamed. Click here to save the link to the livestream.

By establishing synergies, by highlighting best practices, and by holding substantive discussions, the EUKI Networking Conference will bring together key players in European climate action, with the aim of facilitating higher levels of progress and transformation. Doing so means mobilising a joint effort towards our common goal – a green future.
