Project Video: The Bulgarian climate action bike cinema explained

The EUKI project “Bridging European and Local Climate Action” (BEACON) promotes climate action and facilitates an exchange between national governments as well as 34 municipalities and 57 schools in Europe. This video shows the bike cinema, organised by BEACON partner NTEF in Bulgaria. The principle is as smart as simple: Ten kids ride ten stationary bicycles to produce energy which is being used to project educational movies on climate change. In workshops across the country, kids give an effort on the cycles and learn about energy efficiency in a very practical manner.
