Report: Financing Energy Renovation in Buildings – Guidance on Financial Schemes with a Focus on Bulgaria and Romania

The guidance, developed under the framework of the EUKI project Our Buildings, maps available financial schemes for energy efficiency improvements in buildings focussing on accessibility of funding in Romanian and Bulgarian municipalities. It includes success factors of financial scheme design and presents innovative financial instruments, such as Municipal Green Bonds, offering the chance to mobilise additional private resources and improve the needed cooperation between homeowners, utilities and institutional investors.
