Integrated Perspective – Training of Quarter Managers for Energy-Efficient Urban Neighbourhoods
The EUKI project “Training of Managers for Urban Redevelopment in Lithuania” focused on an integrated approach to energy-efficient urban redevelopment. The project with the Housing Initiative for Eastern Europe (IWO e.V.) helped building and strengthening capacities at the responsible authorities, at other stakeholders like the Association of Lithuanian Cities and Municipalities (LSA) and especially in the municipalities themselves. Thus, the project sustainably closed the gap in trained staff in the municipalities and addressed the Lithuanian government’s challenge of integrated approaches to energy-efficient urban renewal. The report summarises the work and results of the project.
