dflip

This report from the EUKI project Wind4Bio proposes guidelines for a biodiversity risk management framework to address the risks associated with the deployment of wind farms.

The authors provide a step-by-step guide through sensitivity assessment, guidelines for assessing biodiversity impacts throughout the life cycle of wind farms as well as suitable mitigation measures. It was central to the development of the guidelines to maintain a balance between the development of renewable energy and the conservation of biodiversity.
