What’s Crucial for the Revision of NECPs in CEE Countries?

dflip

In National Energy and Climate Plans (NECPs), EU Member States are required to describe their national climate and energy objectives and targets – as well as the policies and measures to achieve them. A revision process now requires them to adapt their plans more to current circumstances.

For Central and Eastern European (CEE) countries this process becomes a decisive moment to finally take ownership of ambitious climate action and design clear roadmaps to fully realise the climate, economic and social potential of a just energy transition. In this publication, EUKI project Green Deal CEE developed concise and specific regional basic principles for this process.
