Report: Performance Gaps and Barriers for Energy Efficiency Implementation Methods in Cyprus and Greece

dflip

Deep energy renovations in the buildings sector are required to satisfy the European Union’s low carbon emission efficiency standards. While the annual energy renovation rates are expected to double within the next 10 years, building experts are urged to upskill their workforce.

This report by EUKI project UPGREAT analyses and evaluates the performance gaps and barriers for energy efficiency implementation methods in apartment and school buildings in Cyprus and Greece. It is based on an extensive survey conducted with building experts on the technical, financial and policy issues that may pose challenges to further boost building renovations, especially in schools.
