Frutti per la Biosfera Farm Visits
Educational visits of two farms and a small museum in Sicily within the EUKI project “Frutti per la Biosfera”. Claudio Schilirò (Antico Sempre Nuovo – Maletto) explains old local varieties of chickpeas, beans, lentils and crops to children of the primary school of Randazzo (CD Don Milani – 5th grade). The Museum of Pro Loco Maniace (Maniace il Futuro nelle Nostre Radici) focuses on the environmental and natural heritage of its territory, including ancient cultivation methods and rediscovered varieties. Erasmus+ volunteers are participating in this project.
