Briefing: Fit to Succeed? An Assessment of the Spanish Draft Energy and Climate Plan

As part of the European Union’s 2030 climate and energy package, EU member states are required to develop energy and climate strategies to plan and to report on their 2030 climate and energy objectives. This briefing assesses the draft plan of Spain and an overall score is provided at the end of the assessment. The study concludes that the country should continue the direction set by the draft plan and reinforce its climate promises.
