Overview of Emission Reductions and National Climate Policies in the Non-ETS Sectors Across Europe

In 21 case studies, the EUKI project BEACON investigated successful national climate policies in the European Union and their transferability to the German context. This overview paper examines the climate action efforts in different EU Member States as well as Norway and Switzerland. The aim is to identify measures throughout Europe that have already successfully led to GHG emission reductions in certain countries and non-ETS sectors.
