Report: The Southeast European Power System in 2030

dflip

The increased use of wind power and photovoltaics could improve the electricity system in South Eastern Europe, according to a report by Agora Energiewende. Renewable energies could replace outdated lignite-fired power plants. A mix of sun, wind, water and gas could protect the climate and at the same time increase security of supply and reduce the costs of the electricity system.
