Possible Ways to Self-Sufficiency and Climate Neutrality in 2035

Europe set itself the goal to become the first climate-neutral continent by the year 2050. The German city Pfaffenhofen demonstrates how this can be achieved on a municipal level. This webinar organised under the framework of EUKI Ready4NetZero is the start of a webinar series and will bring the participants closer to the details of the process of city Pfaffenhofen's path to climate neutrality.

Pfaffenhofen is one of the cities prepared for the future. The local government has several approaches to sustainable urban development. Green technologies are developed and used here, and urban planning is done on a human scale. The city of Pfaffenhofen is a role model for active citizen involvement in the activities implemented by the municipality. The special guest of the event will be Dr. Helmut Muthig – expert, physicist and board member of the Solar Energy Association, who will talk about the details of Pfaffenhofen’s path to climate neutrality.
