Eco Festival 2023 – Sustainability, Community, Future
Unleashing the potential of organic farming contributes to realising a new approach to climate action. Yet, the majority of farmers and other actors along the food chain in Southeastern Europe are not aware of alternative, ecologically, and economically feasible ways of producing and consuming organic agricultural products. During its three-day Eco Festival, EUKI project SOFI will focus on “What kind of farms are we leaving to the next generations of farmers?”

The Eco Festival 2023 builds on the conference “Climate Action Plan for Agriculture for the City of Križevci” held on 18 May 2023. You can pick up on the discussion by watching the recording. The three-day programme will include conferences, lectures, panels, workshops, concerts and screenings on sustainable and organic farming practices, agrotourism, mechanisation and digitalisation as well as the importance of biodiversity in agroecosystems to continue the journey towards the green transition of the city of Križevci.
