Forest Management Planning Guidelines

dflip

Forests are linked to climate change in two ways: Climate change has an impact on forest development and management. On the other hand, forests play an important role in the process of climate change mitigation. Taking action to achieve mitigation and adaptation objectives is becoming one of the core tasks of the forestry sector.

Based on results of forest development modelling and existing scientific findings, the EUKI project Forests for Future published guidelines for climate change mitigation and adaption in Slovenian forests.
